Nature of Business
On February 28, 1988, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital opened for service in the form of a general hospital, providing medical treatment for all types of diseases by physicians and medical professionals in all specialties. The hospital was fully equipped with modern and highly effective treatment and diagnosis instruments and offered health care services for outpatients and 115 inpatient bed throughout 24 hours a day with ambulance service on standby at all times.
On May 13, 1993, the Hospital was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the name "Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Public Company Limited" (the Company). Currently, we have a capacity of 486 inpatient beds, situated on an area covering 59,132 sqm.
At present, there are a total of 14 hospitals under the management of the Company and its subsidiaries and has a total of 17 hospitals under the management of its affiliates, totaling 31 hospitals with more than 6,900 registered beds that can accommodate general patients and patients who exercise their rights under the government welfare program, such as those under the Social Security Scheme (SSS) and patients under the project of the National Health Security Office (NHSO).
Currently, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Group operates in 3 Core Businesses comprising of:
1. Hospital business
Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Group operates a large private hospital business, providing comprehensive medical services in all specialties and subspecialties with experienced physicians and medical professionals in conjunction with state of art medical equipments to ordinary patients and patients under government health welfare schemes, such as the Social Security Scheme (SSS) and the National Health Security Office (NHSO), including both outpatients and inpatients.
Currently, there are 13 hospitals under the operations of the Company and its subsidiaries including:

- Chaiyapum Ram Hospital
- Vibharam Hospital Group: Large private hospitals that consist of 6 affiliates, 3 branch hospitals and 3 network clinics located in Bangkok, Samut Prakan and near the major industrial estates of Chonburi Province. These include:
- Vibharam Pattanakarn Hospital (Flagship)
- Vibharam Hospital, Laem Chabang Branch
- Vibharam Hospital, Samut Sakhon Branch
- Vibharam Hospital, Sirinat Buengkum Branch
- Phaetpanya Hospital
- Vibharam Pakkred Hospital
- Vibharam Chaiprakarn Hospital

2. Sales of Medical equipment, medicines, and medical supplies and medical device calibration services (M.I.CAL.SYSTEM)
Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Public Company Limited has procured medical equipment and medical supplies to sell to its subsidiaries and affiliates. Therefore, the Company can order products at a cheaper price, enabling its subsidiaries, associates and affiliates to have lower costs for medical equipment, medicines and medical supplies. Sales of medical equipment, medicines, medical supplies and medical device calibration services (M.I.CAL.SYSTEM) under the operations of the Company are detailed as follow:
- Medical device calibration service (MICAL.SYSTEM) was established for the purpose of calibrating medical devices to ensure that devices used for examinations, measurements and testing, which affect the quality of patient care, are precise and accurate, efficient and suitable for their specific uses.
- Sales of certain types of medical devices and medical supplies such as surgical bed, lamp, boiler, patient bed, electrical system, blood transducer, stationary incubator, plate screw, laser machine and others.
- Laboratory diagnostics service.
3. Investments in Associates and Affiliates
In addition to the hospital business and the distribution of medical devices, medicines and medical supplies, the Company also foresee an opportunity to invest in associates and other hospital and hospital-related businesses, as well as other types of business, thus resulting in consistent returns from dividend per annum as a consequence of its investment.
