In 2023, we have launched the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Treatment to enhance our potential in providing treatment for patients with conditions such as: patients with chronic wounds from diabetes or burns, patients with hearing impairment or patients with symptoms from long COVID, thus enabling them to speed up recovery.

For patient with mobility impairment, the Hospital has adopted Robotic Physical Therapy Technology to provide assistance for patients who need rehabilitation, such as stroke patients or patients with spinal cord injury. This particular technology will help patient to learn and restore movement by walking faster.

The Arrhythmia Treatment Center is another pride of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital. The center provides treatment for arrhythmias at the root cause of the abnormality by pointing catheter tips at abnormal generator points in the heart. Thus, detection for abnormal ECG is necessary. In many cases, abnormalities may not be detected while the patient visits the doctor. In order to detect abnormalities, doctors will install a portable heart monitor to record ECGs at all times. Last year, we introduced a new generation of portable and waterproof cardiac recording devices which enable patients to carry on their normal activities in daily lives. The device is able to record ECG activity for a long time. It also uses artificial intelligence technology and a team of medical experts to analyze and report the test results back to the supervising doctor. Thus, treatment plans can be formulated accordingly.

Aside from the expertise and advanced medical treatment which are considered to be the main focus of the Hospital, our excellence in academic is also being widely accepted in the medical profession. Ramkhamhaeng Hospital had hosted several academic conferences and professional training such as seminar on Endoscopic Spinal Surgery, where the Hospital’s medical professor served as the instructor. In addition, we also hosted training on Cardiac and Lung Rehabilitation with expert lecturer from leading medical center in the US as well as training for Kidney Transplant Nurses in order to enhance the potential of treatment for Kidney Transplant patients. Ramkhamhaeng Hospital is one of the certified Kidney Transplant Center, performing kidney transplant for patient with final stage of chronic kidney disease.

Vibharam Hospital, one of the subsidiaries of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Group, has the expertise in providing treatment for cancer patients. Vibharam Hospital in coordination with The National Cancer Institute and National Cancer Institute of Japan, has exchanged their expertise, knowledge and supports in order to elevate the quality of cancer treatment for their patients.

Ramkhamhaeng 2 Hospital opened for business in the second quarter of 2023 with Ramkhamhaeng Hospital holding 57.49% of its shareholding. Ramkhamhaeng 2 Hospital situated on Ratpattana Road which is a densely populated residential area and has the potential of growing continuously. After opening for business, it has gained positive response from patients and customers; the numbers of patients is growing steadily.

Regarding our CSR activities, the Hospital had organized RAM Hero Run Event that aimed to create real life Hero who has received basic resuscitation training from the general public where we provide training free of charge. These real life Hero will be able to assist patient with acute heart attack in a timely manner. The proceeds after expense of the event was used in purchasing AED for public organization.
